On 8 October 2009, the National Human Rights Consultation Committee released its report and recommended that Australia adopt a Human Rights Act
The recommendations are great, but now we need the government to commit to implementing the recommendations, including the adoption of a Human Rights Act. The Government will respond to the report by the end of this year.
