'FC' is Facilitation Communication, a technique for communication where another person 'facilitates' for the person who is communicating. I could try to describe how I do this with my son, but probably the best way to find out more about this is to go to the website of DEAL. I think it's a fascinating issue to discuss, and particularly as it's a technique that is still misunderstood and sadly excluded by so many people, resulting in that many people who could benefit a lot from FC or need FC for basic communication, are not getting the support they deserve.
